Xiaomi Mi 5X design revealed in 15-second teaser, dual-camera and three colour options confirmed

Xiaomi plans to unveil its new smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 5X, on 26 July. New images, posters and renders have been surfacing online which have given us a glimpse of the phone’s design. However, now the company has released an official 15-second teaser revealing the design of the phone is greater detail, according to Androidpure.

The video shows the three colours in which the phone will come i.e. Black, Pink and Gold. Also visible is the horizontal dual-camera setup which is present in other Chinese flagship mobiles such as OnePlus 5 and Oppo R11. The fingerprint sensor is present at the back of the phone in a similar location like the Huawei Honor 8 Pro

A report in Gizmochina claims that the device has already seen more than 200,000 registrations. Official specifications have not yet been leaked but a poster featuring the phone’s promotion showed that the phone will be having a 5.5-inch full HD display. There is also mention of a Snapdragon

Jeff Bezos beats out Bill Gates to become world’s richest person..!!

Ahead of its earnings later today, Amazon stock hit an all-time high during intraday trading and with it CEO Jeff Bezos’ estimated wealth hit $90.9 billion, Bloomberg reports. This number pushes the net worth of the Amazon founder past that of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, still sitting pretty with $90.7 billion, earning Bezos the title of world’s richest person.

Bezos ending the day as the world’s richest depends on Amazon (and Microsoft) stock holding steady. After the bell, Amazon will report its second-quarter earnings. Today’s jump in share price comes even as investors are expecting Amazon to announce a decline in year-over-year profits today, though the Street also expects revenues to skyrocket 22 percent to $37.2 billion.

Amazon has been riding high over the past year as its ambitions to offer an alternative to the world of brick-and-mortar retail has shifted into one that may completely upend it. In December, the company unveiled its Amazon Go concept stores, a move that made a lot more sense after it made its bid last month to acquire grocer Whole Foods for $13.7 billion.

Amazon’s market cap currently sits at $513 billion. Bezos own about 17 percent of the company. In addition to running Amazon, Bezos also owns the Washington Post and is starting a rocket company called Blue Origins.

WhatsApp is just one of the many available messaging apps for mobile, and apparently it's also one of the most popular.

The company announced on Wednesday it has reached one billion daily active users (on both desktop and mobile) up from the one billion monthly users it announced last year.

The messaging app has grown tremendously.

The company has been steadily expanding features over the last year. For example,

DrinkMate: iPhone Breathalyzer [REVIEW]

ast year during one of Tech.co’s startup tour events I stumbled upon an entrepreneurial duo showing off a very small piece of hardware. That piece of hardware was an Android-connected breathalyzer called the DrinkMate. It was so small in fact that it may even be the smallest one on the market.

At the time they only supported Android, but shortly after the event they launched a Kickstarter campaign for an iOS compatible version. Four days after the launch of the campaign they hit their goal, and nearly tripled it at completion. Needless to say I was intrigued, backed the campaign, and six months later I have the device in hand.

Boring Motorola is making smartphones exciting again..!!

Smartphones are exciting again.

Like all products that reach maturity, modern smartphones as we know them today — rectangle glass touchscreen slabs — have become boring. Each new device iteration usually brings modest feature upgrades and industrial designers are playing it safe. Just look at the OnePlus 5: It's not even trying to hide its iPhone 7 Plus-like looks.

It's felt for some time like there wouldn't be much more meaningful innovation to come, but now we have a contender to shake things up.

The next big feature

Google Pixel 2: Everything we know..

With its superb camera and elegant design, the Google Pixel (and its larger counterpart, Pixel XL) phone hit it out of the park last year. So it's no surprise that Google wants to keep the good times rolling with its pair of premium flagships. The company's hardware chief, Rick Osterloh, already confirmed that a follow-up is coming this year, and while he didn't say exactly when, we'd guess it'll launch some time in October, a year after the Pixel was born.
We don't know much about the next Pixel (unofficially known as the Pixel 2), but rumors say that it'll have a slimmer design and an even better camera.  Until its unveiling, however, we've gathered all the facts and rumors we know about the phone so far. Be sure to check back as more information rolls out; we'll keep the updates coming.
The Pixel 2 will have improvements all around

As new camera tech and improved chipsets become available, the next generation of phones will likely be better than the last. Some specific rumors about an improved Pixel 2 speculate that the phone will be water-resistant, and have a camera that's packed with more features. Google will also likely outfit it with a faster processor, though we're unsure from where. It's believed the company is testing out processors from Qualcomm, Intel and possibly the Taiwanese chipset maker MediaTek.
It might have

BlackBerry KEYone is expected to launch in India on August 1. The company on Tuesday sent out press invite which clearly mentioned that it is going to launch something, however didn't mention what. But, looking at the invite sent to us, we are expecting BlackBerry KEYone at the event, which is to take place in New Delhi.
The press invite comes with a tagline, "Do more. Different" which is the same as the company uses for the KEYone. This is what brings us to the conclusion that KEYone is

Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor: Report..

There seems to be no stopping of leaks and rumours around Google's upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 smartphones. Having already seen its fair share of leaks, a new report now suggests that the smartphones will be the first to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 836 processor.

According to a report by Android Headlines, Google's upcoming flagships will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor, which will be quite similar to the Snapdragon 835 but will have
